On LinkedIn, someone reached out to us because they urgently needed a full-color 3D printed miniature model of a city landmark. This reminded me of the significance of persevering in pursuing dreams, just like working on this project.

This task was to produce a full-color 3D printed miniature model of an urban landmark. Someone reached out to us, expressing the need for a richly colored and intricately detailed model to be used for display and promotional purposes. We understood the significance of this project and immediately began preparations.

Our material consisted of liquid photopolymer resin placed on the table. This type of material has excellent fluidity and adhesion, allowing it to faithfully reproduce complex details. To ensure optimal printing results, we opted for a Carbon 3D printer, setting the layer thickness to 0.1mm, the printing temperature to 25°C, the power at 50%, and a speed of 30mm/s, estimating a total print time of about 6 hours.

During the printing process, the Carbon machine operated smoothly, with liquid resin being precisely cured by the light source to form layered structures. We continuously monitored the print status, ensuring that every detail was accurately represented. The machine's smart monitoring system provided timely feedback on print quality, preventing any defects from occurring.

Upon completion of the print, we moved to the post-processing stage. First, we washed the model with cleaning solution to remove any uncured resin. Next, we sanded the surface with fine sandpaper, gently eliminating imperfections to ensure a smooth finish. Finally, the model underwent UV curing to enhance its durability and maintain the longevity of its colors, followed by a final quality inspection.

After a series of meticulous procedures, we successfully completed the full-color 3D printed urban landmark miniature model. It not only boasts vibrant colors and rich details but also reflects our dedication to every project.
