Every step in life tests our perseverance. Recently, someone reached out to me through YouTube, looking to create an AGV car magnetic navigation sensor bracket to solve a problem in their production.
We chose SLS flame-retardant nylon as the raw material. This material has good heat resistance and flame retardancy, reaching a V0 fire rating. The printer used was an Xjet, with printing parameters set at a layer thickness of 0.1mm, nozzle temperature at 190°C, power set at 80W, speed controlled at 30mm/s, and an estimated printing time of about 4 hours and 30 minutes.
During the printing process, the Xjet operated smoothly, and all indicators were within the preset range. We regularly checked the nozzle's working status to ensure uniform material output. The cooling effect was monitored continuously to prevent material deformation, resulting in a very stable structure for the bracket.
After printing, we moved on to post-processing. First, cleaning was done using a specialized cleaning solution to remove any uncured material from the surface. Next, sanding was conducted to ensure a smooth surface. Following sanding, curing was performed to ensure the material achieved optimal strength and stability. Finally, in the quality inspection phase, the appearance and structure of the bracket were carefully checked to ensure they met production standards.
