This project came from a request on LinkedIn where someone wanted an anime figure replacement face. The person wanted this figure to showcase extreme clarity and a high-gloss mirror finish, so we decided to use SLA photopolymerization for production.

We chose SLA resin as the primary material due to its excellent flow properties and detail capture. When using the EOS printer, we set the printing parameters to a layer thickness of 0.05mm, a temperature of 25°C, a laser power of 50mW, and a printing speed of 80mm/s. This setup ensures we can achieve high precision while improving printing efficiency.

During the printing process, the EOS equipment operated steadily, with the resin solidifying layer by layer. We monitored every detail of the print in real-time to ensure no bubbles or delamination occurred. The printing process lasted about four hours, resulting in a beautifully printed anime figure replacement face with clearly visible facial details.

After printing, we executed systematic post-processing. First, we soaked the figure in a cleaning solution to remove any uncured resin from its surface. Next, we used fine sandpaper to smooth the surface and remove support points. Finally, the figure underwent a curing process to enhance its hardness and durability. After rigorous inspection, we ensured that each product met high-quality standards.

After all these processes, the anime figure replacement face is finally complete. From printing to post-processing, every detail reflects our craftsmanship. We look forward to more such projects in the future.
