We received an order from someone who wanted a new type of pet comb pin board due to quality issues with their current one. This board needed to be practical and visually appealing. After discussions, we decided to use SLA (Stereolithography) technology, utilizing high-quality resin material for the manufacturing process.
In the preparation stage, we chose high-performance SLA photosensitive resin as our raw material. This material features excellent flow properties and speed of curing, ensuring outstanding detail. We used the Xjet printer, setting the parameters to a layer thickness of 0.05 mm, with a printing temperature of 25°C, maintaining a power level of 80%, and controlling the printing speed at 30 mm/s. The estimated total printing time was around 4 hours.
During the printing process, the Xjet printer operated smoothly, and we frequently monitored the print quality. As the printing progressed, details began to emerge, with the edges and surface of the pin board appearing exceptionally clear. Each time we observed these intricate details, a sense of pride swelled within. The entire printing process went smoothly, with no faults or issues, which was certainly reassuring.
Once printing was complete, we moved into the post-processing phase. First, we washed the printed pin board to remove any uncured resin from the surface. Next, we sanded it down with fine-grit sandpaper to ensure a smooth, flawless finish. Then, the pin board was placed into a UV curing chamber for solidification, a step that ensures its strength and durability. Finally, we carefully inspected every detail to ensure satisfaction.
