We received a request from someone in need of a brake ABS module housing due to product upgrades. This housing not only had to have good strength and durability but also reflect the beauty of industrial design. Thus began our challenging printing journey.
For materials, we chose unformed liquid photopolymer resin for its excellent resolution and detail during the printing process. To ensure quality, we utilized a Rize printer, setting the layer thickness to 0.1mm, the temperature to 50 degrees Celsius, power at 80%, and speed at 50mm per hour. This would ensure the resin fully cured for optimal printing results.
As the printing commenced, the Rize device remained stable throughout the operation. We closely monitored the process to ensure each layer cured as expected. Watching the component gradually take shape filled me with a sense of achievement. After several hours of operation, the brake ABS module housing was successfully completed.
For post-processing, we first cleaned the printed housing to remove any excess resin. Next, we polished it to ensure a smooth, flawless surface. Following that, we performed a curing treatment to enhance its structural stability. The final step was inspection, ensuring every detail met high standards and could withstand various demands in practical use.
